Cruises and Gems 2
Hi followers! I am back for a part 2 of Cruises and Gems which was incredibly successful, getting more attention than any other post on my blog. And for that, I would like to say a big thank you to all of you. Today, I am going to be talking about multiple things, including but not limited too.
- Some talks about my Eiffel Tower trip, as suggested by my follower, Judi King
- Some follow ups about the gem store aboard the cruise ship, which I was also not paid to do.
- Some other parts of my cruise, such as dinner.
Anyway, let's get started.
For starters, I will talk about the Eiffel Tower. I went to the Eiffel tower on my trip as part of a shore excursion. Since the ship couldn't dock in Paris, it docked in Le Havre and sent it's passengers to Paris by bus. In Paris, the bus drove around and took us to see many amazing sights, such as the Louvre (We didn't get off the bus at the Louvre, but we did get to look around) Also, we got to see multiple beautiful bridges in Paris, which crossed a river that went through Paris. But, even with all of those small things, the Eiffel tower was still the coolest thing we saw in Paris. We went up to the second floor, but not the third, and were able to look down an incredible distance.
On the first floor, there was a glass floor which I enjoyed looking down through very much. From there, you could see the huge lines on the ground (Which we got to skip because we had reservations for the restaurant on floor 1) When we first arrived, we spent about an hour on the ground before going up the incredible elevator which moved up at an angle to floor 1 to eat.
Next, I am going to talk about the gem store aboard the cruise ship. Aboard the cruise ship, there was a gem store labeled "Gifts and Jewelry" Which was full of watches and gems. I spent a lot of time in the store during the cruises, where I was able to talk with the workers shown below.

In the picture above are the people who worked at the gem place who I met. At the store were numerous amazing gems which I will talk about more now. For starters, I was able to determine the origins of the colored diamonds (As I explained, there was jewelry with red, blue, yellow, and green diamonds in one set which I found absolutely beautiful and decided that the colors contrasted each other perfectly.) The set was the Le Vian Mixberry set. One ring from it is shown below.

As you can see, the set uses dark red, yellow, green and blue gems surrounded by white diamonds on a gold ring. Anyway, now I have to tell you about dinner.
At dinner on the ship, I had the same waiters every day, ate at the same time every day and had the same waiters every day. I ate at 6 everyday in the King Leer dining room named after the Shakespeare play. My table had a beautiful view over the ocean which was absolutely stunning. Anyway, this is the end of the post. I will talk a little more tomorrow but it is late for me and I really want to get this post out. Goodbye!
