TreeTop Adventures

Hello, readers. Today is going to be a slightly different post than most days for multiple reasons, which I will describe after saying a quick sorry for posting a bit late. I was just a bit busy with school. Anyway, this post will be almost entirely talking about TreeTop adventures, because most people wanted to hear about it. So, for starters, TreeTop adventures was amazing. My grade was split into two groups who went at very similar times but one got there and left a little before the other. Anyway, at TreeTop adventures, there were about 10 courses with four levels of difficulty. The yellow and green ones were the easy ones, the blue were the hard ones, and the black ones, which we weren't allowed to go on, were the hardest of all. I did one blue and a few of the other ones.

On the blue one that I did, there were two obstacles that were incredibly hard to do. The first one was a run and jump one with two handles to hold on to. From below, it didn't look to hard, but it was hard. The problem was that I didn't weigh enough so the jump was nearly impossible. The first time I tried it, I grabbed onto the handles and jumped. It seemed good, but there was too much friction between the handles and the thing it slid on, so I couldn't make it. While I was in about the middle, I had to let go. Luckily, although I was about 60 feet up, I was held to the course by a string so I only fell a couple feet. Anyway, I tried again, just like you are told to do in preschool. I got all the way to the tree holding it up and jumped, getting one or two steps in before jumping off the edge of the platform. Let's just say I missed. Anyway, just like the first time, someone from below pulled a string to get me back to the platform. I could tell they were waiting to see if I would make it on my third try, which I did. I can remember seeing  a couple kids actually clapping on the surface, seeing as a lot of people were watching from the ground. It must've been kind of funny, to be honest.

Anyway, the second hard obstacle was walking across spinning wood things that would rock back and forth two. It was nearly impossible. In the end, I had to let go and just try to get an inch forwards at a time, luckily, I did make it, although I do feel bad because the girl behind me had to wait for me to get across. Anyway, I will make sure to post more soon, but I have to go to school soon, so I have to go, so I will see you later. Goodbye!!!

  1. Sounds like an amazing place to visit! I'm glad that you kept trying on the first obstacle, it must have been exhilarating when you made it! As for the second obstacle, slow and steady always wins the race. I loved that your classmates were cheering each other on. That was my favorite part of your post.
